We are pleased to share the story of our second completed project it’s a conservatory roof refurbishment in Edinburgh (EH7). This was a small but meaningful milestone that tested our ability to deliver under pressure and strengthened our skills in managing tight schedules and client expectations.
Our client approached us with a water leakage problem in their conservatory roof. The roof had multiple gaps and lacked proper sealant, causing persistent leaks and discomfort. The client asked us to fix the issue quickly, setting a very short deadline of just two days from our initial site visit.
Our Approach
The biggest challenge was the tight schedule: completing the inspection, preparation, sealing, and finishing all within two days. Our team organised the tasks efficiently, worked systematically, and managed to hand over the project on time without compromising quality.
There was also a communication challenge: the client initially believed our quotation included both the internal and external roof works. We clarified that the scope was for the internal sealing only and explained how this alone would be sufficient to stop the leakage. Once the works were completed, the client agreed and was happy with the results.
The leakage was successfully resolved, and the conservatory was made watertight with a neat, professional finish. The client was satisfied with the speed and quality of delivery and awarded us a 4-star rating.
