The client had recently purchased the house and wished to replace the existing doors, which felt unstable and allowed cold air to seep through gaps between the frames. They asked us to address these issues within a very tight deadline, requiring both the door replacement and the installation of air stopper strips.

The scope of work included removing the old doors, preparing the existing frames for new installations, and fitting the new doors with hinges and locks. For this project, we have our own joiner to carry out the works, while the client themselves took responsibility for obtaining the necessary approvals.

One of the key challenges was that the property was fully occupied and in daily use, which meant we had to work in a considerate and safe manner without causing disruption or damage to the home. To overcome this, we carefully protected household essentials with covers, used floor protection to collect dust. Despite these restrictions, we managed the workflow efficiently and completed the installation within the agreed three-day timeframe.
